DISA/CIM JOINS SOFTWARE PRODUCTIVITY CONSORTIUM
The U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency's Center for Information Management (DISA/CIM) is among three organizations added to the Software Productivity Consortium's new Affiliate program. The Consortium's Affiliate program broadens the interaction between the Consortium and other organizations outside of its industrial member base, including universities and government agencies.
DISA/CIM is the U.S. Defense Department's focal point for department-wide support in all information management activities. DISA/CIM initiatives include programs and activities in the areas of Ada language implementation, software reuse, process improvement, measurement, reengineering, and object-oriented technologies.
The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC/ALC) and Software Valley have also joined the program.
