9X COMPILER AVAILABLE TO OCS LEGACY ADA USERS

OC Systems has announced the availability of its early 9X compiler, available at no charge to users of OCS Legacy Ada. This compiler implements the major features of OOP, Hierarchical Libraries and Protected Records allowing Legacy Ada users to get early hands on experience in Ada9X.

NEW SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION TOOL - SoDA

Rational Software Corporation has recently introduced SoDA, a software documentation tool that helps development organizations cut costs and increase the quality of software documentation. SoDA automatically generates documents using data extracted from information sources such as software-engineering tools, requirements databases and code.

SoDA will be available in July on Sun workstations running SunOS. SoDA will be available on Sun Solaris and IBM RISC System/6000 platforms in the fourth calendar quarter of 1994. SoDA consists of two components: the base documentation tool and the customized integration source domains. The base SoDA product sells for $6,000 (U.S. price).
