The name and company of the project detailed on this slide are not released at the request of the project.

This project was also perceived by some as an Ada failure.

This slide gives the facts about the project. The next slide gives the results of the project. The results contradict the perception that it is an Ada failure.

Its a large, real-time, distributed command and control system with a high reliability requirement.

It consists of approximately 1 million lines of Ada code and 110,000 lines of C.

Project "X" is in the system test phase as of Spring 1996.
