From the Script: SLIDE 25- Domain Cost

This graph measures the cost per SLOC against those same application domains, and by the type of programming language within the domain.

Again, the data is based on over 100 million source lines of code, both military and commercial software.

The cost per SLOC was found to be less when Ada is used as the programming language in each domain.

The code from the Avionics/Sonar domain had both the greatest cost/SLOC as well as the biggest savings due to Ada; however cost advantages were realized even in the Data Processing arena.
