This graph measures the level of productivity in various application domains, and by the type of programming language within that domain. Productivity was defined as SLOC per Man-Month.

The data is based on over 100 million source lines of code, both military and commercial software. This is a compilation of the studies cited earlier.

Productivity gains were found in all domains when using Ada.
