ABSTRACT

Universal Filenames (UFN) Tool

This is a set of Ada components designed to provide filename portability. UFN establishes a universal file naming standard and provides mapping of the universal filenames to UNIX, DOS and VMS file naming conventions. This version of UFN also provides directory name translation. The users can utilize universal directory paths in their Ada programs and port their programs among UNIX, DOS and VMS operating systems.
