RIG Glossary, 14 January 1993

This glossary is a RIG Subcommittee Report prepared by RIG Technical Committee 1.

This document is focused on terms pertinent to RIG's mission. It does not attempt to address all aspects of reuse. It deals with those terms necessary to discuss interoperability issues and to form the basis for creating a comparison framework for library mechanisms and reuse libraries.

The terms contained in this document are intended to be adopted as the terminology utilized in the documents and reports of all RIG Technical Committees.
