Based on random number generator program in the March 1987 issue of BYTE magazine. Calling program must first initialize package by calling Procedure GET_TIME_SEED. GET_TIME_SEED uses Package CALENDAR to obtain seed values for X, Y, Z between 0 and 30,000. Seconds, Day, and Month are used to ensure that successive calls to procedure will not obtain same seed values. Random numbers of type FLOAT are obtained by calling Function NUMBER.
NOTE: GET_TIME_SEED must be called at least once to generate the seeds needed for NUMBER.
