ABSTRACT

Fast Fourier Transform

This package is an Ada version of Ferguson's FORTRAN program to compute the general N point fast Fourier transform. It was presented by the authors in an article titled "Analysis of an ADA Based Version of Glassman's General N Point Fast Fourier Transform," which appears in "Computers & Mathematics with Applications," v26, n2, pages 61-65, 1993. In the article, the package is compared with the original FORTRAN version. It is demonstrated that the execution time of the Ada program is comparable to that of the corresponding FORTRAN program.
