CLI2 is a general-purpose command line interface which is similar in concept to the UNIX ARGC/ARGV command line parameter passing mechanism. CLI2 fills a void I have felt in Ada for some time, providing a package specification which provides for a transportable command line interface and a selection of package bodies which implement this interface based on the compiler being employed by the user. A general-purpose package body is also provided to implement the interface (by prompting the user after the program runs) if he is using a compiler not currently supported by the supplied package bodies.
Package bodies which implement CLI2 are included for the following Machines/Systems:
Later versions of these compilers have been found to compile these CLI package bodies as well.
