The purpose of this briefing is to provide an overview of the Corporate Information Management (CIM) program, which is one of the Department's key programs for reinventing its products and services for the warfighter. This briefing discusses how and why CIM was created; its major elements, its key events and its accomplishments. It ends with a short discussion of the changing mindset and management issues and challenges that must be dealt with in order to make this program an even larger success.
