Publishing on the World Wide Web

This one-day short course is designed to:

• Provide an introduction to and understanding of the technologies associated with using and developing for the Web
• Provide user-oriented information on the resources the Web has to offer
• Act as a guide (and reference) should you wish to proceed further in developing your skills with Web technology

It is divided into five main topics:

• Introduction to the Web
• Introduction to Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
• Introduction to Java
• Survey of Tools for Web Page Development
• Integrating CDROM and DVD Technology with the Web
