ABSTRACT

Ada Compatability Guide

Version 6.0, 1 January 1995
SPC-94093-CMC

From the introduction:

"A major design goal of Ada95 (the revision to Ada) was to avoid or at least minimise the need for modifying the existing base of Ada83 software to make it compatible with Ada 95."

This guide points out the incompatabilities between Ada83 and Ada95. It includes information on the change itself, the rationale for the change, an example, instructions on how to avoid it in Ada83, and how to automatically detect and remove the incompatability.
